Summary of Change
Version B.12.02.02.02 of Partition Manager includes integrated support for using the
HP-UX Peripheral Device Tool (pdweb) to display details about I/O slots. The HP-UX
Peripheral Device Tool must be running on the selected nPartition and must be
configured to start on demand for Partition Manager to perform actions on I/O slots or
I/O cards.
Partition Manager for HP-UX 11i v1 (B.11.11) now supports servers based on the HP
sx2000 chipset, including HP Superdome (SD16B, SD32B, and SD64B models), rx8640,
and rx7640.
Partition Manager includes the ability to enable and disable Hyper-Threading for
nPartitions whose cells have processors that are Hyper-Threading capable (such as
dual-core Intel Itanium 2 processors).
Defect fixes also have been incorporated into this release.

There are no known impacts other than those previously described.

files. The online help is accessed through context-sensitive help links in Partition
Manager.
•The parmgr command is documented in the parmgr (1M) manpage that is included
with the product.
Both English and Japanese versions of the manpage are included.

Not applicable.
PRMKernelSW
The PRM Libraries (B7697BA) is now known as PRMKernelSW. PRMKernelSW (version
C.03.02) contains only the PRM kernel fileset, PRM-Sw-Krn.
Summary of Change
The version number for the PRM-Sw-Krn fileset is still C.01.04. The only change is that
the fileset is now in PRMKernelSW.
