HP MPI has been updated to version 1.8.3 to enhance performance tuning. No new
functionality has been added since version 1.8.1.

HP Visualize Conference
HP Visualize Conference is a collaborative conferencing solution for HP Workstations
that can interoperate with Microsoft’s NetMeeting, Sun’s SunForum, and SGI’s
SGImeeting products.

HP Visualize Conference version 1.5 adds support for the XFree86 X server running on
HP-UX platforms. Support has been added so that HP Visualize Conference now runs on
PA-RISC as well as Itanium-2 platforms. Backward compatibility with earlier versions of
HP Visualize Conference and NetMeeting 3 has been maintained. Backward
compatibility to HP Visualize Conference 1.2 and NetMeeting 2 has been maintained via
two running modes:
• T.120 Compatibility mode (HP Visualize 1.2 and NetMeeting 2)
• NetMeeting Compatibility mode
