For version A.02.01, new features include the following:
wlminfo utility for monitoring workloads and their SLOs
auditing and billing information
PSET-based workload groups can now have their number of CPUs adjusted based on
SLOs
passive mode to allow you to see how WLM will approximately respond to a given
WLM configuration
ability to easily capture the stderr of data collectors by using coll_stderr in your
WLM configuration
ability to temporarily remove groups with no active SLOs by using the
transient_groups keyword, ensuring that resource use is reduced to zero for such
groups

Ability to define workload groups based on processor sets
New syntax for, and greater flexibility in, controlling memory

An SNMP agent for accessing PRM data
Display of resource percentages to two decimal places (was formerly integer

Expanded field length for PRM group names in PRM’s monitoring utilities
(30-character field was formerly 14-character field)
In-kernel memory management
This version of HP-UX WLM does not take advantage of PRM’s hierarchical groups.
