Use the lp option -ocs9N (or -oscs9N ) to select the ISO 8859-15 character set as the
primary (or secondary) character set. For example:
lp -d
printer_name
-ocs9N -o
other_ options print_filename
NOTE The case is significant. Be sure to use an upper case “N”.
