Verifying a Successful Upgrade

With any ISEE upgrade, you should validate that the process was successful by verifying

that the entitlement and communication incidents were received.

NOTE If you have installed ISEE Monitored Clients in a clustered environment, see the

appropriate operating system appendix for any additional requirements.

The upgrade process enables you to update your ISEE Client software while preserving

your existing configuration settings. To take advantage of the ISEE upgrade, you must

complete the following configuration steps:

1. Open a browser to the following URL:

http://<client_hostname>:5060/start.html

Where <client_hostname> is the fully qualified hostname of the monitored system.

2. Enter your user name and password when prompted by the browser.

NOTE Your original password will be retained during the upgrade.

3. Click configuration options in the left navigation panel.
