In this configuration, because the logical printer attributes do not have
values, HPDPS only validates against the values of the physical printer
attributes.The initial-value-document object IVD1 assigns default values
to all jobs submitted to LogPrt1. These can be overridden by values
assigned by the job submitter.
NOTE You must specify the name of the spooler when you create a logical
printer with the pdcreate command. You do not need to specify the
spooler name if you modify values for logical printers with the pdset
command.
It does not matter in what order you create the logical printer and
initial-value-document object. However, an initial-value-document object
associated with a logical printer must exist before you can enable the
logical printer.
