Defects Fixed in HP-UX Secure Shell A.04.40.006 and

A.04.40.007

Following are the defects fixed in HP-UX Secure Shell Versions

A.04.40.006 and A.04.40.007:

JAGag19769 X-11 forwarding fails on HP-UX 11i v2 systems

running HP-UX Secure Shell A.04.30 with one of the

following error messages:

X connection to <ip addr>: 11.0 broken

Bugzilla #1162 Inappropriate sequence of syslog messages.

Bugzilla #1186 The ssh command tries to open unprotected keys

multiple times.

Bugzilla #1188 Keyboard interactive authorization does not allow

the user to retry login if pam_acct_mgmt() fails.

Bugzilla #1193 OpenSSH does not allow changing of password for

usernames that are longer than 8 characters.
