This version of HP-UX Secure Shell includes the following features
introduced in HP-UX Secure Shell A.04.30.006 and A.04.30.007:
Provide an sftponly Solution in a chroot Environment
In a chroot environment, you can allow users to login using sftp only.
The ssh and scp commands are not available. This feature is provided
by the /opt/ssh/utils/sftponly script. To enable this feature,
complete the following steps:
Step 1. Add the complete path of the sftponly script to the shell field of the
user’s account in the /etc/passwd file.
Step 2. Add the full path of the sftponly script to the /etc/shells file.
HP-UX Secure Shell’s Usage of Tcp Wrappers Support
IPv6
HP has built HP-UX Secure Shell Versions A.04.30.014 and A.04.30.015
with tcp_wrappers_7.6-ipv6.4 with IPv6 support. HP recommends using
the following address specification for IPv6 addresses in the hosts.deny
and hosts.allow files:
service:[IPv6 address]:
