HP-UX IPQoS brings an HP-UX host into conformance with the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) Differentiated Services (DiffServ) model on outbound HP-UX traffic. HP-UX IPQoS provides differentiated classes of service on outbound HP-UX host traffic by performing traffic classification (packet filtering) and traffic conditioning (packet metering, shaping and marking) actions.
