Table A-2 Policy Attributes
Attribute Definition
policy policyname Name of the policy block being defined
uses filtername [[filtername]...] The filters the policy uses
res[ervation] b1[suffix] The reserved bandwidth for traffic matching
any filter attached to the policy.
The [suffix] can be %, k, K, m, or M.
No white space is allowed between b1 and the
[suffix].
max[imum] b2[suffix] The maximum bandwidth allowed for traffic
matching any filter attached to the policy.
The [suffix] can be %, k, K, m, or M.
No white space is allowed between b1 and the
[suffix].
dscp d DSCP value set in all packets that match any
filter attached to the policy. Range is 0-63
inclusive.
This value is placed in the leftmost 6-bits of the
TOS field for IPv4 packets, and in the leftmost
6-bits of the Traffic Class field for IPv6
packets.
vpr priority Three-bit VLAN priority field set in all packets
that match any filter attached to the policy.
Range is 0-7 inclusive.
