Auto-created client printers
Description
Auto-created client printers are printers that are connected to ports on users’ Win16, Win32, and Win64 client devices
(Windows CE, DOS, and Macintosh OS platforms).
Test methodology
The HP printers listed in Table 12 were installed on the client system using a parallel cable, USB cable, or TCP/IP port; drivers
for the printers were downloaded from the HP Driver Support website.
The client system connected to the XenApp server farm, which verified that the client’s locally-attached HP printer was
available in the user’s session and that the client could print successfully to this printer.

Printer driver compatibility
Description
Some printer drivers can cause server problems when printing to client printers in the XenApp server farm and may result in
a fatal system error on the server. Because of this, you might need to prevent the auto-creation of client printers that use
certain printer drivers. The printer driver compatibility feature allows you to designate or prohibit drivers for use with client
printers.
