are acceptable and are supported.
Issues when using HP printers in Citrix environments
Resolved issues
Job storage not working as expected when printing from a XenApp published application
A job will not be stored in-device when printing from a published application in XenApp if the application is published as
Allow anonymous users. This happens because UPD job storage requires the user ID to store the job; however, in this case,
the application is run as an anonymous user on the XenApp server.
Process HPMUPxxx.BIN fails to shut down
In HP UPD versions prior to 5.1, a process named HPMUPxxx.BIN (HPMUP081.bin, HPMUP083.bin, HPMUP084.bin, or
HPMUP091.bin) failed to shut down during Citrix session logoff. This process has been removed in UPD 5.1.
Auto-creation performance in Citrix
The HP UPD versions 4.1, 4.5, and 4.7 and discrete print driver versions 61.071.xxx.xx and 61.081.xxx.xx have a known
performance issue when auto-creating printers at user login. The process msiexec.exe might consume CPU resources
and slow auto-creation of the printer as well as other applications hosted on the Citrix server. HP UPD version 5.0 included a
fix for this issue.
