 Computer system product ID and model name

 Severity

 Recommended action

 Probable cause

Figure 4 shows examples of event notifications. Here it can be seen that each notification has a

status, severity, system name, and event occurrence time associated with it.

The Insight Providers deliver component information s

uch as temperature, status (failed, repaired,

degraded), and redundancy. This data comes from sources such as the main (base server) system,

processor (CPU) subsystem, fan subsystem, power supply subsystem, memory subsystem, storage

subsystem, and network subsystem.
