credentials of the user that installed the application is necessary for the service to have the necessary
credentials for database access and other CMS settings.
If you want the logs to be in a different language (German or English), you have three options:
• Stop Systems Insight Manager service. Change the default locale of the user account specified in the
Log On As property of the Systems Insight Manager service (the user that performed the install) to the
desired language, and restart the service.
• Stop Systems Insight Manager service. Change the Log On As user for the Systems Insight Manager
service to the local administrator account, and be sure its locale is set to the desired language. Restart
the service.
• If you do not want to change the default locale of either of the previous accounts to the desired language
for the logs, create a new administrator-level account with the desired default locale. Then uninstall
Systems Insight Manager and reinstall Systems Insight Manager specifying the new administrator-level
account.
Configure or Repair Agents
Configure or Repair Agents fails on Linux systems if the HP Insight Management WBEM providers are already
installed on the system. HP does not support both WBEM and SNMP (contained in the Linux support pack
deployed by Configure or Repair Agents) on the same system. If the Configure or Repair Agents operation
fails, you can view the HP Smart Update Manager log on the target system, located in the
/var/hp/log/hpsum_execution_log* file and /var/hp/log/localhost/*.txt files for more
details. If the WBEM providers have already been installed, the localhost\hpsum_detail_log.txt
file will show a dependency conflict - hp-health conflicts with hp-smx.

Configure or Repair Agents displays a message informing you to upgrade the firmware to the latest firmware.
This is an incorrect message Integrity iLO3. Single Sign-On (SSO) to an Integrity iLO3 system is not supported
in Systems Insight Manager 6.1.

When configuring a Configure or Repair Agents task, limit the number of target servers to 100 or less so
that the internally created Windows command will not exceed the maximum Windows command line length.

If the CMS is connected to a managed system through VPN, you cannot use tools like Initial ProLiant Support
Pack Install, Install Software and Firmware, Install OpenSSH, and Configure or Repair Agents to install agents
to it.
If you try this, these tools will fail and you will not be able to run other tasks with these tools. You must reboot
the CMS for these tools to work properly .
