4. Restart Systems Insight Manager.
The password for the database account used by the Systems Insight Manager Windows service is changing.
What do I need to change?
Solution:
1. Stop Systems Insight Manager.
2. Run mxpassword -g and modify the following passwords to the new account password:
MxDBUserPassword
MxPMPPassword
3. Restart Systems Insight Manager.
Migration logs
By default, the debug log is disabled for migration. To enable the debug log, open the
[HPSIM]\config\debugsettings\migration.props file, and set the value of the GlobalEnable
property to true and set the log level to 20 or above for detailed logging. This property file will be created
on the first run of the export or import operation.
The debug log file is created under [HPSIM]\logs with name ‘migration_log4j.log. A backup
log file is created with name migration_log4j_backup.log.
