RemarkProblem
Resolution available via KVM or RKM is too low
compared to the resolution in use by the large display.
This is unsupported.
The keyboard and mouse do still work and you can
continue to use them to switch among cluster nodes and
to provide input to the large display and the running
application.
Console monitor displays message that the input signal
is out of range. Large display has video output visible.
Reboot the display nodes after initially cabling the display
devices to the graphic cards.
No output appears on display devices cabled to the
display nodes.
The application runs on the SVA_EXECUTION_HOST as
defined for the Display Surface you specified when you
launched the SVA script. (An SVA_EXECUTION_HOST is
a specific cluster node allocated when the job launches.)
You can interact with the application in two ways:
Switch the KVM over to the port attached to the
SVA_EXECUTION_HOST node. You might lose the
video; however, the keyboard and mouse work,
allowing control of the large display.
Use the -i input-node flag to the
sva_chromium_dmx.sh script to force DMX to
display a control console on the input-node (whatever
you specify). Then use the DMX control console to
control the large display.
The SVA User's Guide details running scripts. The SVA
Visualization System Software Reference Guide provides script
syntax, including options.
Unable to interact with application desktop.
