2.3.2.3 Replace Nodes in a Display Surface with Different Nodes
This section shows an example Display Surface using a different set of nodes than those found
in Table 2-1 and Table 2-2.
This option lets you substitute one or more nodes in the Display Surface with nodes that are not
a part of the Display Surface. In order to be added to the Display Surface, a node must have the
same display block geometry (number of nodes and spatial arrangement, for example, left-to-right)
as the node it is replacing. This option cycles through requests for nodes to be replaced until you
indicate that you are done by entering a period character (.) as the node to be replaced. You can
replace more than one node in a single run.
Once you replace a node, you can use the replaced node to take the place of another node in the
Display Surface.
Enter request:5
Current Display Surfaces are:
Wide,Tall,Square,SquareSquare,Single,DoubleWide,DoubleTall,TripleWide,TripleTall
Please enter the name of the Display Surface to change:
Wide
The display blocks in "Wide" are arranged like this:

You will now be asked to select the display nodes to be replaced,
and the nodes to be used as replacements. You may see the available
nodes at any time by pressing the ENTER key.
To indicate that you are done, enter a period (".") as the name of
the node to be replaced.
Which node do you want to replace? [ENTER]
