■ Installing the LTO Drives
Use the following procedure to unpack and install the drives.
LTO tape drives are shipped with the following, non-selectable configurations:
• Low voltage differential or high voltage differential operation
Note: Refer to Figure 2 and make sure that the labels on the drive match the
drive type and operation required.

Note: Check with the customer for their maintenance agreement on tape drives. If
the customer agreement is to return the drives for repair, have them retain
one shipping box, with packing material, to return drives to factory.
