LTO Tape Drive Installation Instructions

■ Tape Library Attachment
Perform these procedures to install a LTO drive into the tape library:
Tools Required
• Phillips screwdriver
• 3/16-inch nut driver
❑ Install the drive(s) in the library.
❑ Attach the Y-cable between the drive and the library bulkhead.
❑ Attach the interface cable to the drive.
❑ Power-on the drive.
❑ Configure the LTO drive.
❑ Attach the SCSI terminator.
❑ Attach the interface cable to the host.
