Removing a Rackmounted Autoloader (if necessary)

Removing the Standalone Cosmetic Cover
If the autoloader is not rackmounted and has a cosmetic cover, to remove
the cover, do the following:
CAUTION This autoloader contains very sensitive elctronic components. It is
important to prevent electrostatic discharge (ESD). Use wrist grounding
straps and anti-static mats when removing and replacing cards and
internal assemplies.
1. Remove the four T-15 screws (see Figure 1-4).
2. Lift the autoloader cover off by easing the sides out and lifting it up
from the chassis.
3. The autoloader is now ready for upgrading (see “Upgrading the
Autoloader from DLT to Ultrium” on page 2-9).
