Configuring the Mailslot

The mailslot is comprised of magazine locations in the upper right-hand

door. When a tape is being changed, the door opens only to the number of

slots that have been configured.

By default, the library is configured for a one-slot mailslot. This setting

can also be configured for 0 slots (no mailslot), five slots, or 10 slots from

the

Administration or Service menus (see Table 3-3, “Mailslot

Configuration,” on page 3-7).
