Page 11 of the SAN Manager LM for Solaris Installation Guide (J6112-96010) includes the following note:
Note If you decide to remove this node from the SAN at a later time, enter the following
command to restore the Solaris 7 QLogic driver:
add_drv -m"* 0666 root root" -i'"pci1077,2100"' ifp
Some users have experienced problems entering this command because the typeface used in the manual
does not clearly distinguish between single and double quotes. In the section of the command that says
′″ pci1077,2100 ″′, the outer quotes are single quotes and the inner quotes are double quotes. The correct
command is as follows:
add_drv -m ″ * 0666 root root ″ -i ′″ pci1077,2100 ″′ ifp
