SAN Administration
Modifying Administration Group Settings
1. Click the Administration Groups button or choose View Administration
Groups.
To Add SAN Administration Groups, Do One of the Following:
– Double-click a group in the Windows NT Groups pane to add it to the SAN
Administration Groups pane.
– Select one or more groups in the Windows NT Groups pane and click the left arrow
to add the group(s) to the SAN Administration Groups pane.
– To add a group that is not listed in the Windows NT Groups pane, type the group
name in the Enter other groups text box and press Enter or click the arrow next to
the text box. Some examples of groups that are added this way include groups from
other workstations and domains, and groups from the local workstation that are not
listed in the Administration Groups dialog box.
Note When adding a group through the Enter other groups text box, you must enter
the group name in one of the following formats: group, machine\group, or
domain\group. If a group that you are trying to add does not have the
appropriate trust relationship with the domain or the SAN Manager LM
administration host, you may be unable to add the group to the SAN
administration groups list.
To Remove a SAN Administration Group, Do One of the Following:
– Double-click a group in the SAN Administration Groups pane.
– Select one or more groups in the SAN Administration Groups pane and click the right
arrow.
2. Click OK to close the Administration Groups dialog box.
