Create New Database
Deletes the existing database and prompts you to create a new one. During this procedure,
you can either create a new database or restore a saved database file.
Database Mirror Set
Allows you to view and edit the database mirror set.
Scan Hosts
Scans the database for hosts with status changes and updates their host status in the SAN
Manager LM administration application. This command is the same as clicking the Scan
Hosts toolbar button.
Scan Domain for Hosts
Scans the domain for new hosts and hosts with status changes. This command only scans
the domain or workgroup from which you are scanning. This command is the same as
pressing Control and clicking the Scan Hosts toolbar button
Add Host
Some types of hosts, such as non-Windows NT hosts that do not have NetBIOS names,
cannot be added to the SAN Manager LM database automatically. Use this command to add
a host to the database manually.
Create Host Info Report
Creates a text file that lists the operating system and the versions of the installed SAN
Manager LM components on each host.
Scan for Devices
Scans the SAN for new devices and devices with status changes.
