Note If you are registering from outside the United States, fax the printout to
1-805-883-4318.
6. Click Copy to copy your registration information to the clipboard.
7. Paste the registration information into an e-mail message addressed to
[e-mail]
8. Type your fax number and purchase order number on the lines provided.
9. If you purchased Software Support Services, type the supplier’s name in the space
provided and select the type of services purchased.
10. Send the e-mail.
11. In the Fax and Email Registration dialog box, click Close.
12. Click OK to save your registration information and close the Registration dialog box.
Tip When you click OK in the Registration dialog box, SAN Manager LM saves a
copy of your registration information into a file called Registration.txt, which is
stored in the SAN Manager LM program directory. Save the Registration.txt file
and your license keys. These items can be used to set up a new database in case
of a total database failure.
Once your registration information is processed, you will receive operational license
keys for your SAN ID via both fax and e-mail. The fax copy serves as the official
contractual document, and the e-mail copy permits easy entry of operational keys into
SAN Manager LM. For instructions on entering operational keys into SAN Manager LM,
see page 56.
13. If you registered during the initial SAN Manager LM configuration procedure, continue
with the Adding Hosts to the SAN Database procedure on page 54.
