TRDISK supports duplicate drives (due to multiple HBAs or storage ports) to support
IBM’s Data Path Optimizer and other similar applications. To enable this support, you
must make the following registry entry and reboot: “PathMode” = 1.
Caution Using this mode without Data Path Optimizer or similar software results in
duplicate drive letters and possible data corruption.
For safe behavior when no DPO-like product is installed, set PathMode to 0 or delete
the value and reboot. This sets TRDISK's default path mode, which is to ignore all
paths but one to a LUN.
