Removal and

Replacement

Harness Cover Plate

To gain access to the power harnesses and the battery harness (one end), remove the

harness cover plate. This plate must also be removed when removing either the controller

cage/midplane assembly or the power supply cage/midplane assembly.

1. Loosen the four screws which secure the harness cover plate to the rear shield. See

Figure 120. Because the plate will slip over the screws, the screws can remain in the rear

shield.

2. Lift up slightly on the cover plate and pull it toward you to free it from the enclosure.
