Removal and Replacement
4. Place the failed controller module next to the replacement module, on the antistatic
mat.
5. Transfer the DIMM memory from the failed controller module to the replacement
controller module.
a. Remove the six screws from each controller module cover (see Figure 113), and lift
the cover off the module,
b. Remove the DIMM by pushing out on the levers on either side of the connector.
c. Install the controller DIMM into the same connector in the replacement controller
module.
d. Replace the top cover on each controller module.
e. Return the failed controller module to the factory.
