Battery Harness
Introduction
This section describes procedures to troubleshoot the controller enclosure battery
harness. See Figure 87. For troubleshooting procedures, refer to the "Master
Troubleshooting Table" on page 275

Servicing Notes
An intermittent or complete loss of battery power to the controller modules or batteries
not charging properly may indicate a defective battery harness or controller enclosure
midplane. To replace a battery harness or controller enclosure midplane, you must remove
the controller enclosure from the rack and completely disassemble the chassis. For this
reason, you should investigate all other potential sources of failure before replacing these
items. Specifically, make sure you replace the BBU, both power supply modules, and both
power cords before replacing the battery harness.
