Option Description
-C <cntrlrID> Change the state of the specified disk array controller (A or B) to
FAIL. The controller is failed by holding it in a reset state.
NOTE! Before failing a controller, you must transfer ownership of
all LUNs to the other controller. This command will fail if the
controller you attempting to fail still owns any LUNs. See
"Changing LUN Ownership" on page 316.
-c <cntrlrID> Change the state of the specified disk array controller (A or B) to
UNFAIL. This releases the controller form the reset state imposed
by the fail command. If the controller cannot be returned to its
operational state, it will remain in the FAIL state.
-Q <cntrlrID> Quiesce the specified disk array controller (A or B). This option
causes the controller to stop responding to host I/Os.
-q <cntrlrID> Unquiesce the specified disk array controller (A or B). This option
resumes I/O activity on the specified controller.
