LUN None or Unassigned Disk remains part of its original LUN. If disk was moved
from another array, the receiving array will try to create a
new LUN to accommodate the disk.
Global Hot Spare If the disk is resident, it remains part of its original LUN.
If the disk is foreign (from another array), the disk
becomes a global hot spare.
Failed LUN Disk Disk replaces failed disk and becomes part of new LUN.
All original LUN data on disk is lost.
