HP StoreFront Mobile Access Release Notes 1.2.9 (5697-3020)

Storage system information is not updated in the app
In rare cases, information that is displayed in the app may not be updated after changes are made
on a monitored HP 3PAR storage system. For example, if a storage administrator changes the
name of a CPG, the new CPG name may not be displayed in the app.
Workaround. The HP StoreFront Mobile Access administrator should restart the 3PAR Mobile
Content service and Mobile Gateway service. HP recommends that HP StoreFront Mobile Access
administrators plan and coordinate restarts of the Mobile Gateway service with users.
Upgrading environments with more than 100 mobile devices
When upgrading the HP StoreFront Mobile Access server from version 1.0 the device access limit
is automatically set to 100 mobile devices. In rare cases where there are more than 100 mobile
devices in the version 1.0 environment, the mobile devices will still have access in the upgraded
environment; however, more mobile devices cannot be added until the device access limit is
increased. This is a known behavior of upgrading from version 1.0 and does not indicate a problem
with the mobile device access limit feature.
For example, if there are 110 mobile devices in the version 1.0 environment, any attempts to add
a mobile device in the version 1.2.9 environment will fail. If the version 1.2.9 environment needs
to support up to 120 mobile devices, then an administrator should set the device access limit to
120.
When upgrading environments with more than 100 mobile devices, HP recommends that the
device access limit be increased to the current number of mobile devices, even if there are no
immediate plans for adding devices. This will prevent issues if a user replaces a mobile device
with a new one.
Workaround. An administrator should use the Mobility Setup Tool change deviceAccessLimit
command to increase the limit before adding mobile devices. For more information on the device
access limit, see the HP StoreFront Mobile Access 1.1 User Guide.
