Upgrade coordination
For procedures on upgrading HP StoreFront Mobile Access environments to version 1.2.9, see the
HP StoreFront Mobile Access 1.1 User Guide.
HP recommends that administrators coordinate upgrades with existing mobile device users. The
following are situations that coordination can prevent:
If app users are connected to (monitoring) storage, they will see lost-connection dialogs, storage
notifications will stop, and the sessions will become invalid. These users will be unable to
monitor storage until their apps are upgraded.
If app users are not connected to (monitoring) storage, but they have selected an HP StoreFront
Mobile Access server when the upgrade starts, when they connect to storage they will see a
device-revoked message. These users will be unable to monitor storage until their apps are
upgraded.
If Android app version 1.0 and 1.1 users have not selected a server when the upgrade starts,
when they select an HP StoreFront Mobile Access server, they will see an error message
