1 Release summary IMPORTANT: HP StoreFront Mobile Access server software is updated from version 1.1 to version 1.2.9. The Android app is updated to version 1.2.9. The iOS app is not changed and remains at version 1.1. See compatibility information below. HP StoreFront Mobile Access includes server software, an Android app and an iOS app. The server software and apps work together to provide secure access for monitoring HP 3PAR StoreServ storage from mobile devices.
• The HP StoreFront Mobile Access app is compatible with Android and iOS mobile phones and HP Slate 7 tablets. • The software and support for the software is available in English only. Software and documentation downloads HP StoreFront Mobile Access software and documentation are available as free downloads. • For administrators who need HP StoreFront Mobile Access server software, visit the HP Software Depot at https://h20392.www2.hp.com/portal/swdepot/index.do.

These users will be unable to monitor storage until their apps are upgraded. • If Android app version 1.0 and 1.1. users upgrade their apps before an HP StoreFront Mobile Access server is upgraded, when they select the server, they will see an error message explaining that the app and the server have different versions.
Workaround. To reduce or prevent impacts due to memory consumption, HP recommends that an administrator restart the HP 3PAR Mobile Content Provider service approximately every 48 hours. To restart the service, use the Windows services tool or refer to the HP StoreFront Mobile Access 1.1 User Guide for information on using the Mobility Setup Tool 3PARsetup restart command.
Storage system information is not updated in the app In rare cases, information that is displayed in the app may not be updated after changes are made on a monitored HP 3PAR storage system. For example, if a storage administrator changes the name of a CPG, the new CPG name may not be displayed in the app. Workaround. The HP StoreFront Mobile Access administrator should restart the 3PAR Mobile Content service and Mobile Gateway service.
