To update library firmware from the RMI, click Choose File and select the firmware file from the
local computer.
To update the library firmware from the OCP:
1. Copy the firmware file to a USB flash drive.
2. Insert the USB thumb drive into the USB port on the front of the library.
The library detects the USB drive.
3. Select the firmware file.
4. Click Start Upgrade.
When you update the library firmware, the library will update the firmware of the expansion
modules to a compatible version.
Managing drive firmware
Drive firmware can be updated on multiple drives of the same type at the same time. Drive firmware
can only be updated from the RMI. Each drive will only accept appropriate firmware.
To see the firmware version currently installed on the drives, navigate to the Status > Drive Status
screen.
