Removing one or more robots from a
module
IMPORTANT: If you are unpacking a Control
Module or Parking Module, and that module
will be connected to one or more Expansion
Modules, remove the robot using the steps
below, otherwise go to “Inspect the contents of
the kit” (page 5).
NOTE: If your Parking Module contains two
robots, repeat the steps below for both robots.
1. Open the library door.
2. At the top of the robot, remove the foam block(s)
and the blue tape securing them.

3. At the center of the robot, remove the foam block
and the blue tape securing it. Lift the foam block
up, and then pull out the block.
If you are removing a robot from the right side of
the frame, make sure the rubber bumper stop is
still in place.

4. Pull out the U-shaped corrugated plastic piece that
anchored the foam block you just removed from
the center of the robot.
The foam on the right side is different than on the
left that is shown above.
5. Unlock the Y direction stop.
6. Remove the shipping clamp by loosening the
screws on the shipping restraint.

7. Keeping the shipping restraint in place, move the
picker assembly up and then secure it to the center
support with the shipping restraint screws.
8. At the bottom of the robot, remove the block of
foam and the blue tape securing it.

9. Loosen the two screws holding the collector door
in.
Removing a robot from the right side of the frame
1. Lift the robot up and out of the frame. Place the
robot in a secure location outside of frame.
2. Remove the plastic shim and the blue tape
securing it to the floor of the frame.
