Remove the packaging from the module
1. Remove shrink-wrap from around the module and
pallet.
2. Use a box-knife or scissors to cut the straps that
secure the module to the pallet.
3. Remove the cardboard top from over the module.
4. Remove the ramp and the outer layer of
cardboard from around the module.

5. Remove the second layer of shrink-wrap and the
cardboard corner protectors from around the
module.
6. Remove any accessory boxes packed around the
module.
These boxes may contain power cables, Fibre
Channel cables, software license certifications,
or installation instructions.
7. Use a box-knife or scissors to cut the remaining
straps that secure the module to the pallet.
8. Remove the remaining cardboard that protects
the module.
9. Pull the blue bag from the top to remove it from
the module.

1. Use a 14 mm socket wrench to remove the two
bolts on the wooden board at the back of the
module.
