Install the new LMM fan assembly
1. While pressing down on the latch and holding
the handle, slide the new LMM fan assembly into
the fan housing.
The metal plate on the bottom of the assembly fits
into the slide grooves of the fan housing.
2. Plug the two LMM fan assembly cables into the
LMM backplane connectors. It is best to plug in
each cable separately.
3. Bend the cable clamp over the cables to secure
them to the fan housing.
4. Place the cover plate on the module and tighten
the thumbscrew to secure the cover plate to the
module.
5. Detach the ESD strap and close the service access
door.
