out the adjustment and work on the

3. Digital level position left
to right

b. Place the level on the left side, inside the
access door, then level the module from front
to back:
Always make your leveling adjustments
to raise the control module (turn the legs
clockwise looking from the top).
Since the control module frame is very
stiff, adjust the appropriate front or rear
leg pair the same amount when leveling
front to back.
Use small adjustment increments; no more
than one half (½) turn at a time.
If the leveling adjustment has raised any
of the other leveling legs, take out the
adjustment and work on the other side.
Wait at least 10 seconds for the digital
level to settle between adjustments.
6. When the module is sufficiently level, set the leg
lock nuts:
a. Verify that all four leveling feet are carrying
load and that the module does not rock.
b. Use the 24 mm open end wrench to tighten
the lock nuts.
NOTE: Ensure that you do not take
the leveling legs/feet out of adjustment
during this process.
Start the library
NOTE: If logging on as admin for the first time,
assign a password that is easy to remember and
be sure to communicate this password to the
customer. The customer can change the
password later.
1. Turn the power switch on the power distribution
unit to the up (I) position to turn power on.
2. Detach the ESD strap and close the service access
door.
3. Press the Power button on the indicator panel to
power the library on.
The library begins to boot up. A library with only
a few drives usually will be fully powered on and
ready for use within 10 minutes. However, if a
library is large with a high number of drives, it
can take more than an hour for the library to fully
power on, complete its discovery process, and
become ready for use. During the power on
process, the Robotics Enabled indicator flashes.
When the library is fully powered on and ready
to receive commands, the Robotics Enabled
indicator turns solid green.
4. Log on using the default username service with
password 42311324 or admin with password
admin.
5. Select ToolsLibrary
DiagnosticsTeachCalibrate. The test will take
approximately 5 minutes.
6. Select ToolsLibrary
DiagnosticsTeachConfigure. The test will take
approximately 5 minutes.
7. Select ToolsLibrary DiagnosticsVerification
Tests. The test will take approximately 40 minutes
for 1 module or 2.5 hours for 12 modules.
8. Look at the Installation Verification Test (IVT) report
to verify there are no alignment issues (test
failures) and correct as required.
Configure the library
Perform the following configuration steps using the
library Operator Control Panel (OCP), or after network
parameters have been set, using the remote Library
Management Console (LMC):
