8. Locate the customer LAN cable and connect it to
the management control blade (MCB), as shown
in the figure below.

9. Locate and unpack the boxes for all ordered tape
drives. Remove magazines from the control
module as necessary and install each tape drive
using the instructions provided. Verify that all
installed drives are connected to the appropriate
ports on the Ethernet expansion blade (EEB).
The location of EEB ports and corresponding
drives are:
1. Drive slot 1
2. Drive slot 2
3. Drive slot 3
4. Drive slot 4
5. Drive slot 5
6. Drive slot 6
7. Drive slot 7
8. Drive slot 8
9. Drive slot 9
10. Drive slot 10
11. Drive slot 11
12. Drive slot 12
13. Lower drive bay
14. Upper drive bay
15. Eth port 1 of EEB in slot 7 (corresponds to drive 1)
16. Eth port 2 of EEB in slot 7 (corresponds to drive 2)
17. Eth port 3 of EEB in slot 7 (corresponds to drive 3)
18. Eth port 4 of EEB in slot 7 (corresponds to drive 4)
