Description
This release includes updated firmware for the HP StorageWorks 1/8 G2 Tape Autoloader .
The Autoloader firmware can be updated through any of the following methods:
• Remote management interface (RMI).
• Operator control panel (OCP) using a USB flash drive.
• HP Library and Tape Tools (L&TT).

Enhancements
• Added support for the Ultrium 3000 Fibre Channel tape drive
• Added support for Simple Network Time Protocol (SNTP) configuration in the RMI.
• Added support for IPv6 networking configuration through Command View TL.
• Improved support for browsers which use KHTML, such as Chrome, Safari, and Konqueror.
• A support ticket is now generated after a cleaning tape is unloaded.
• Added a configuration to the RMI Configuration: Password page to allow the current administrator
login session to remain logged in without user interaction for up to 30 minutes.
Fixes
• Fixed a case when the RMI incorrectly reported the status of an LTO5 HH SAS drive that had ne-
gotiated to 6 Gb as 4.5 Gb.
• Modified robotic parameters to avoid retries reported as gripper blocked (error codes 8E 44 and
9C 44).
• Fixed a case where the Autoloader appears unresponsive after an OCP key is pressed during
initialization after a reboot or power cycle.
