Description
This release includes updated firmware for the HP StorageWorks 1/8 G2 Tape Autoloader .
The Autoloader firmware can be updated through any of the following methods:
• Remote management interface (RMI).
• Operator control panel (OCP) using a USB flash drive.
• HP Library and Tape Tools (L&TT).

Version 3.80
• Drive fan control algorithms implemented to provide optimized airflow based on drive operation
and ambient temperature. This change also reduces noise under most operating conditions.
• RMI login screen has been modified so a user-level login is not prompted for a password and the
Service login now requires both the Administrator password and the HP Service password.
• Previous release versions did not include the HP-defined Event Code in binding #6 of the SNMP
(Simple Network Management Protocol) trap data. This release provides the HP specific Event
Code as well as the product level event code with the SNMP trap data.
• The SNMP community string can now accept an “_” (underscore) character. Previous versions
did not allow this character.

• Added notification for TLS/SSL email notification.
• Improved error recovery and error messages for robotics errors.
