Configuring the Virtual Connect Manager
To configure the Virtual Connect Manager on an X9720/9730 system, complete the following
steps:
1. From the Onboard Administrator, select OA IP > Interconnect Bays > HP VC Flex-10 >
Management Console.
2. On the HP Virtual Connect Manager, open the SNMP Configuration tab.
3. Configure the SNMP Trap Destination:
• Enter the Destination Name and IP Address (the CMS IP).
• Select SNMPv1 as the SNMP Trap Format.
• Specify public as the Community String.
4. Select all trap categories, VCM traps, and trap severities.
