To format the partitions:
1. In the Disk Administrator window, click the Tools menu, and then click Format to
open the Format x:\ window, where x is the new partition.
Under Capacity, t
he entry states: Unknown capacity. Do not change this entry.
2. Under File System, select NTFS.
3. Under Allocation Unit Size, select an allocation size.
4. Under Volume Label, enter a volume label, or leave this entry field blank for no label.
5. Under Format Options, click Quick Format and/or Enabl e Compression as desired.
6. Click Start.
7. Click OK to confirm all existin g disk data will be erased, then click OK when
formatting is complete.
8. Click C lose. The Disk Administrator window displays the new format information.
