2. From the Partition menu, click Create to open the Create Primary Partition window.
3. Enter the desired partition size (for example, 65 MB) and click OK.TheDisk
Administrator window opens with the newly created unformatted partition.
CAUTION:
Stripe set volume with parity is not supported on the XP512.
4. Select the unformatted partition.
5. From the Partition menu, click Commit Changes Now.
6. When the confirmation message appears, make sure tha t you entered the correct
information, and click Yes.
7. When the disk update confirmation message appears, click OK.Iftheinformationis
not correct, click No to return to step 1 and re-enter the correct information.
8. Repeat steps 1 through 7 for each par tition you want to create. When finished
creating partitions, reboot the system to recognize the newly created partitions.
Formatting disk partitions
Format the partitions so that the NT system c a n write to the new disks.
