Verifying new de

vice recognition

After installin

g the disk array, you need to verify that the new d evice is recognized by

the Windows N T system.

1. Reboot the Windows NT system.

2. Determine whe

ther the Windows NT server has recognized the new devices by

observing the initial start up messages.

Use the Pause key to suspend the scrolling of the start up m essages. Press any

key to resume.
