4 Performing SNMP Operations
Adding SNMP Manager IP Addresses
To add SNMP Manager IP addresses:
1. Log on to open Remote Web Console Main window. Change to Modify mode (see HP
StorageWorks XP Remote Web Console User Guide: HP XP12000 Disk Array, HP XP10000
Disk Array, HP 200 Storage Virtualization System if you need instructions).
2. Click Go – Environmental Settings – SNMP Information in the menu bar of Remote Web Console
Main window. The SNMP Information window is displayed (see “SNMP Information Tab”
(page 10)).
3. Enter desired numerical IP address in IP Address text box (see Figure 5 (page 13)).
4. Select Set. The new IP address is added to IP Address list, but the changes are not implemented.
5. Select Apply to implement the changes, or select Cancel to cancel the changes, then select
OK on the confirmation message.

Deleting SNMP Manager IP Addresses
To delete an SNMP Manager IP address:
1. Change to Modify mode.
2. Log on to Remote Web Console. Click Go – Environmental Settings – SNMP Information in the
menu bar of Remote Web Console Main window. The SNMP Information window is displayed
(see “SNMP Information Tab” (page 10)).
