Shred LDEVs window
Use the Shred LDEVs window to select the LDEVs to be shredded.
Selected LDEVs table
The following table lists information about the LDEVs selected.
DescriptionItem
The ID of the selected LDEV. The ID is a combination of a logical disk controller (LDKC)
number, a control unit (CU) number, and a LDEV number. Free indicates free space.
LDEV ID
Name of the selected LDEV.LDEV Name
The parity group number (such as, 1-1) of which the selected LDEV is a member.Parity Group ID
• A parity group number starting with E (such as, E1-1) indicates that the parity
group consists of one or more external volumes.
• A parity group number starting with V (such as, V1-1) indicates that the parity
group consists of one or more Snapshot virtual volumes.
• A parity group number starting with X (such as, X1-1) indicates that the parity
group consists of one or more Thin Provisioning virtual volumes.
Indicates the pool volume (pool-VOL) name and ID.Pool Name(ID)
The emulation type of the selected LDEV.Emulation Type
The capacity of the selected LDEV. To change the unit of capacity, select Option >
Capacity Unit.
