• Two or more hosts connected to two or more disk arrays
Using two or more hosts connected to two or more disk arrays
provides the most flexible CA disaster recovery plan. The remote and
local sets of data are administered by different hosts, guarding against
host and disk failure.
This is the configuration used by high availability (HA) software (such
as HP MetroCluster) in conjunction with RAID Manager’s
horctakeover command (see
page 117) allowing for both failover and
failback.
