The valid range for Snapshot is20-95%.
• For Thin Provisioning/Smart Tiers, you may specify two user-defined thresholds, and their
valid ranges are 1-100%, respectively. If you specify <threshold_1> and <threshold_2>:
The value of <threshold_1> is set as the threshold for WARNING specified to a pool.
The value of <threshold_2> is set as the threshold for High water mark specified to a
pool.
If you specify only <threshold_1>, your specified value and the system default value
(80%) are applied.
• The valid range for Snapshot is 20-95%. You may specify only <threshold_1>. Even if
you specify the value for <threshold_2>, the value is ignored.
Specifies the pool information for Smart Tiers. Specify it to change the free capacity ratio
for new allocation per tier.
-tier <Tier
number><threshold>
<Tier number>: Tier number (1-3)
<ratio>: Free space percentage for new allocation(0-50) [%]
Sets the maximum reserved V-VOL capacity rate (0-65535%) to the pool capacity.- subscription <%>
0-65534: Specified percentage
65535: Unlimited
Specifies when changing the pool for Thin Provisioning to the pool for Smart Tiers, or the
pool for Smart Tiers to the pool for Thin Provisioning.
-pool_attribute
<pool_attribute>
Specifies the following value depend on the type of pool desired to be changed.
• smart_manual: Changes the pool for Thin Provisioning to the pool for Smart Tiers. It is
changed to manual reallocation.
• thp: Changes the pool for Smart Tiers to the pool for Thin Provisioning.
Examples
Restoring the status of a pool ID: 6.
# raidcom modify pool -pool 6 -status nml
Restoring the status of a pool name: my_ss_pool.
# raidcom modify pool -pool my_ss_pool -status nml
Changing the user-defined thresholds of the pool ID:6 of the pool for Thin Provisioning/Smart
Tiers,WARNING, to 70% and High water mark to 80%.
